About

About

Two Palms Studios is a unification of the different musical projects and universes that Simon Buhl Sørensen has created or is a part of.

Simon is a composer, producer, music teacher, and multi-instrumentalist who has spent the most of his life creating music and searching for “that” unique sound. As a musician, he is especially interested in working with
and developing a “Nordic Sound”.

Background:
The interest for music started at a young age and at the age of seven Simon started taking guitar lessons in his hometown Vejle. After a few years he started playing in  bands in which he started writing original music.
Since his passion for music has only developed. And in 2014 he won the competition Quasar Rock at Jelling Festival with his band which let to a series of concerts at places like SmukFest and Jelling Festival.
This was something that motivated him to pursue a career in music. Therefore he moved to Aalborg to study music at Aalborg University, but realising that he wanted to focus more on the craftsmanship as a musician, he applied and got accepted at the conservatory. From then on he was able to focus on developing as a musician and in 2023 he finished his studies at the conservatory.
